Police Confirm: Man Dies After Collision
The police have confirmed that a man has died following a collision earlier today [Sept 3] in Devonshire.
A spokesperson said, “Sadly, the Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the eighth road fatality for 2021, said to be a 35-year-old Smith’s parish man, who ultimately succumbed to his injuries in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit late Friday afternoon [3rd September]
“Official identification of the deceased is anticipated in due course. He was one of two motorcyclists involved in a serious collision with a car, which occurred on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Mayflower Drive, around 10:50am Friday.
“The medical condition of the other motorcyclist remains unknown and the car driver was not hurt.
“The Roads Policing Unit is investigating this latest road fatality and any witnesses are now urged to call 247-1788 or 211.”
