AXIS Appoints Kenneth Hosp As Vice President
AXIS Insurance, the specialty insurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited [AXIS Capital], has appointed Kenneth [Kenny] Hosp as Vice President of the U.S. Excess Casualty team, effective immediately.
“Mr. Hosp will be responsible for cultivating and strengthening relationships with wholesale distribution partners, enhancing new and existing initiatives and opportunities with an emphasis on transportation business, and executing the underwriting strategy. He will be based in Alpharetta, GA, and will report to Britt Smith, Senior Vice President, U.S. Excess Casualty,” a spokesperson said.
“Joining from Gen Re where he was most recently Assistant Vice President – Global Casualty Facultative, Mr. Hosp was responsible for primary casualty and excess liability facultative reinsurance production and underwriting. He began his insurance career at State Farm Insurance followed by various underwriting roles at Markel Specialty and Dual Commercial.”
