Bobb & Parsons Represent UMBC At Navy
Caitlyn Bobb and Za’Kayza Parsons represented the University of Maryland, Baltimore County [UMBC] during the season opener at Navy.
Bobb won the women’s 500m dash in a time of 1:14.14, the fifth-best time in school history and qualifying for the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
Bobb and teammates Collese Daley, senior Ayanna Johnson and sophomore Autumn Winston also qualified for the ECAC/IC4A Championships in the women’s 1600m relay, the quartet placed third against a strong field with a time of 3:51.58.
Parsons finished 9th in the women’s 60 meter dash stopping the clock in a time of 7.88, and she also had a leap of 5.31m on her way to finishing 11th in the women’s long jump.
