Police Appeal To Locate 15-Year-Old [Located]
[Updated] The police are once again appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Saphire Wainwright, who was last seen on Saturday morning.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is once again appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Saphire Wainwright.
“She is described as brown complexioned, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall of heavy build weighing about 220 pounds – and was last seen around 11:15am Saturday, 11th December in the Middle Road, Smith’s parish area.
“So far, efforts by police officers to locate the 15-year-old, who usually travels on foot and by bus, have been unsuccessful.
“However, since the teen was reported missing she has been spoken to once on the phone, but did not disclose where she was.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 15-year-old Saphire Wainwright is encouraged to call police on 211 at the earliest opportunity.”
Update Dec 14, 8.26pm: A police spokesperson said, “15-year-old Saphire Wainwright returned safe and well earlier this evening [Tuesday, 14th December]. The Bermuda Police Service appreciates the public’s assistance in locating her.”
