Argus Launch $15,000 Sheila Nicoll Argus Award
The Argus Group today [Feb 10] announced the launch of the Sheila Nicoll Argus Award, noting that Ms. Nicoll was a member of the Argus Group Board of Directors for 14 years and was the Chair from 2008 until her retirement in 2021.
A spokesperson said, “Argus invites applications from undergraduate students who are studying Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Insurance and Risk Management, Mathematics, Pure Science, Biology, Chemistry, Information Technology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences. The student must be outstanding academically and demonstrate a financial need.
“The $15,000 a year award is granted annually for three years, and the successful applicant will also be offered holiday employment opportunities, with Argus, during school breaks.”

We are grateful for her enduring commitment to the company and to Bermuda. This is a fitting way to show our appreciation and look forward to offering this award to a deserving student.”
