Football: Dandy Town & Robin Hood Win
Two matches took place in the Bermuda Football Association’s [BFA] Premier Division, with Dandy Town Hornets and Robin Hood picking up wins.
Somerset Eagles 0 – Dandy Town Hornets 1
The Dandy Town Hornets increased their lead at the top of the Premier Division to five points following their 1 – 0 win over the Somerset Eagles.
After a scoreless first half, the lone strike of the game came when Kamali Davis weaved his way through the Somerset Eagles defense, and rounded the goalkeeper to score into an empty net.
Robin Hood 4 – St. George’s Colts 1
Robin Hood moved into sixth place in the standings following their 4 – 1 win over the St. George’s Colts at the BAA Field.
It only took Robin Hood four minutes to open the scoring with Cody Robinson notching a goal. Erieco Outerbridge doubled the Robin Hood lead in the 17th minute before Aaron Nelson made it 3 – 0 seconds before the break.
The St. George’s Colts were able to pull a goal back in the 49th minute when Macai Simmons scored, but Robin Hood restored their three goal lead with a goal in the 90th minute from Tajai Goater.
