Phillips Advances To Guatemala Quarter-Finals
Daniel Phillips continued competing in the ITF J4 Guatemala Main Draw where he claimed back-to-back victories to advance the quarter-finals.
Phillips was on the court to face the tournament’s number three seed Hoyoung Roh from Korea, who he defeated in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.
The Bermudian tennis player then took on the USA’s Humza Noor in the second round, with Phillips having to fight back from a set down to advance.
Noor won the first set 6-4, Phillips won the second set by the same score and he also won the third set.
