Photos: Governor Consul, Students Visit Station
Earlier this afternoon [Feb 19], the Governor Rena Lalgie, US Consul General Karen Grissette and a group of students visited NASA’s Bermuda Tracking Station on Cooper’s Island to view the launch of an Antares Rocket from Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.
Government House posted the photos online below, and said, “Earlier this afternoon, the Governor visited NASA’s Bermuda Tracking Station on Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve, alongside US Consul General Karen Grissette and a group of students from Bermuda High School, to view the launch of an Antares Rocket from Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. This launch was Northrop Grumman’s 17th commercial resupply services mission to deliver NASA science investigations, supplies and equipment to the International Space Station.”
