Basketball League: Reapers & Answer Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Island Basketball League continued inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium with a double-header that produced 245 points in the two matches.
In the opener, the Reapers defeated the Splash Brothers 97 – 46. Gershon Kurt had a double-double, with 18 points and 14 rebounds, Mykal Glasgow scored 18 points, and had 6 rebounds, while Jorel Smith scored 18 points. John Lee scored 16 points for the Splash Brothers, while Jason Lowe grabbed 10 rebounds.
In the nightcap, the Answer defeated the Franchise 69 – 33, Jahzion Lugo led the Answer with 21 points, while Zavante Garnette had 4 rebounds, while Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 11 points for the Franchise, while Job Lisma, and Jaron Tucker both grabbed 3 rebounds.
