Field Hockey: Pirates Defeat The Dragons
In the lone Bermuda Field Hockey match of the evening at the National Sports Center, the Pirates defeated the Dragons 4 – 1.
The Pirates took the lead in the 6th minute when Nathan Bothelo scored from a penalty corner, Samuel Thompson doubled the lead from a penalty corner in the 13th minute. The Dragons pulled a goal back in the 29th minute when Rupert Cuddin-Large scored a field goal, but in the 45th minute Donnie Simmons restored the Pirates two-goal lead, and then Jayden Pacheco made it 4 – 1 with a field goal in the 57th minute.
