Four Bermuda Athletes Compete In Track Meets
Four Bermuda athletes took to the track to represent their schools.
Stephan Dill and Mikal Dill represented Johnson C. Smith Men’s Track and Field at the 2022 Adidas Winthrop University Invitational.
Mikal Dill finished fourth while competing in the men’s triple jump with a top leap of 13.23m; he also finished seventh in the men’s long jump by leaping 6.61m.
Clocking a time of 11.05, Stephan Dill finished 14th in the men’s 100m dash; he also finished 12th in the men’s 200m dash with a time of 22.46.
Inshan-Nae Smith represented Livingstone College at the Montreat College Invitational.
Smith recorded a season best leap of 5.13m to finish seventh in the women’s long jump.
Zekiah Lewis and her Quinnipiac track and field teammates opened the outdoor season at the Monmouth Outdoor Opener.
Lewis finished fourth with a leap of 5.23m in the women’s long jump, which is also a career best; she went on to place eighth in the women’s triple jump with a leap of 10.15m.
