HSBC: Lights On For International Women’s Day
In celebration of International Women’s Day, HSBC said they join the “world in celebrating the social, economic and cultural achievements of women,” and last night the Front Street facade of the Harbourview Centre was illuminated in purple, the official colour of International Women’s Day, which the bank said was “just one of the ways the bank will mark this occasion.”
Head of Wealth and Personal Banking & Marketing, Tanya Bule shared, “International Women’s Day provides us with another opportunity to recognize the contributions of HSBC’s female employees, as well as women from across Bermuda and around the world, who continue to make great strides towards achieving women’s equality as well as equity within the workplace.
“The Bank is committed to gender equality and is resolute in the belief that women can and do play as critical a role as their male counterparts in ensuring overall business success.
“In 2022 the theme for International Women’s Day is #breakthebias and this provides the platform for all of at HSBC to challenge ourselves, in ways that will contribute towards the Bank becoming a truly inclusive organization.”
