BMDS Offer Additional Performance Of ‘Shorts’
The Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society Stage Show will have an additional performance on Wednesday, April 6th at 8 pm at the Daylesford Theatre in Hamilton.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society and the production team of Shorts: An Evening of Short Comedies About Death, Armageddon, Time Travel, Ocean Exploration, Arch Rivalries and Vehicular Arson are pleased to announce that due to overwhelming demand for tickets, an additional performance will take place on Wednesday, April 6th at 8 pm at the Daylesford Theatre in Hamilton. Tickets are $30 and available through ptix.bm.
“The show is a series of six comedies written and directed by local playwright, Owain Johnston and will consist of three separate performances, an intermission and then three additional performances. The casts includes seasoned and experienced actors who have participated in many BMDS productions in the past along with a few newcomers to the BMDS stage.
“Mr. Johnston has not only won the BMDS Charitable Trust Playwriting Competition five times, but also wrote another full-length play, Killing Carlisle, which was staged at BMDS’s Daylesford Theatre in 2019.
“The Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society’s Daylesford Theatre is located on the corner of Dundonald and Washington Streets in Hamilton, across from Victoria Park.”
