Bermuda Trio Win At BAAA Championships
Bermuda athletes were back in action competing at the Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations [BAAA] National Track and Field Championships at the Thomas Robinson National Stadium.
Caitlyn Bobb won the under 20-year-old 100 meters in a time of 11.70, and also finished 5th in the 200 meters, clocking a time of 23.92.
Tiara DeRosa won the women’s discus throw open with a top toss of 47.58m or 156 feet 1 inch, which came on her third attempt.
JahNhai Perinchief won the men’s triple jump open with a top leap of 16.66m or 54 feet 8 inches, which came on his first attempt.
Stephan Dill competed in the men’s 200 meter dash open preliminaries finishing 4th in Heat 3 which saw him finish 10th overall.
