Football: Bermuda U17 Team Defeat BVI 4 – 0
The Bermuda under 17 football team started competing in the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Qualifiers today [Aug 30], making an excellent start by defeating the British Virgin Islands by a score of 4-0.
The Concacaf match report said, “The first matches of the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Championship Qualifiers took place earlier on Tuesday at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida where Bermuda, Bonaire and Bahamas all emerged victorious in Group A.
“The morning slate ended with a commanding 4-0 win for Bermuda versus British Virgin Islands. Jannis Roberts [9’], Hayden Dill [31’], Jaidyn Robinson [45+3’] and Chance Eve [75’] scored for the Gombey Warriors.”
