Rosewood Bermuda Donates School Supplies
Rosewood Bermuda recently donated goods for the Devils Hole Community Back-2-School Fun Day event as part of its community outreach.
A spokesperson said, “Last week, representatives from Rosewood Bermuda – Esan Frederick, Director of Operations, and Paul Hardtman, Executive Assistant to Managing Director – donated goods for the Devils Hole Community Back-2-School Fun Day event as part of Rosewood’s community outreach.

“The annual event is a highly anticipated day for the community which Rosewood Bermuda has participated in for the past couple of years by donating funds. This year, however, the property chose a different approach by donating school supplies.
“Through the efforts of Rosewood Bermuda, the property was able to donate 10 school bags for high school students that were filled with pens, pencils, highlighters, rulers, notepads, math sets, scientific calculators, water bottles, lunch boxes and more.
“The event is due to be held on September 5, 2022.”
Certainly don’t want to sound unappreciative but Rosewood, owned by Gencom, who are in discussions to receive millions in hotel concessions donated 10 back to school bags!! And had the audacity to seek PR… come on Rosewood (Gencom), we would expect to hear news of significant more investment in your community.
Of course, your comment ignores the fact that students at Government run schools still have to rely on charity for basic school supplies.
It should be a matter of great shame that successive governments in Bermuda over 2 generations (yes, I mean more than 42 years) have ignored students and education to the extent that teachers use their hard-earned money to provide basic school supplies and even food to their students.
