Football: Bermuda Defeat Saint Martin 9 – 0
[Updated] Bermuda’s under 17 football team recorded an impressive victory over Saint Martin today [Sept 1] in the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Qualifiers, winning by a score of 9 – 0.
This marks their second win of the tournament, following after their 4-0 win over the British Virgin Islands . The match has just concluded and we will update with additional information as able.
Update: The Concacaf match report said, “Bermuda were big winners on the day, as they downed Saint Martin 9-0. Xahvi Deroza scored a hat trick (10’, 24’, 40’), while Malachai Belboda added a brace (71’, 90+4’) to lead the way for the Gombey Warriors. Also getting their names on the scoresheet were Hayden Dill (13’), Paris-mitchell Robinson (47’) and Jutorre Burgess (59’), on top of a Saint Martin own goal (84’).”
