‘Rosewood Cup’ Golf Event In November
Rosewood Bermuda announced its first annual ‘Rosewood Cup’ golf tournament which will be held in November.
A spokesperson said, “Rosewood Bermuda, the premier luxury resort in Bermuda, is pleased to announce its first annual ‘Rosewood Cup’ golf tournament which will be hosted at the and scenic 18-hole, par-70 Tucker’s Point Golf Course. From November 25-27 2022, members of Tucker’s Point Club and public non-pro players will have the opportunity to compete in the property’s inaugural golf tournament and claim the title of ‘Rosewood Cup Champion’, while also partaking in exclusive events all weekend long.
“To kickstart the weekend, a welcome cocktail party will be hosted on Friday, November 25th at 6:30 p.m. at Tucker’s Point Club for participants of the inaugural Rosewood Cup and their guests. Registration will take place as players enjoy a fun evening of cocktails while staking out their competition.
“The following day, Saturday, November 26th marks the first official day of the Tournament. Beginning at 10:45 a.m., golfers will be able to enjoy a grab-and-go style Brunch at Sul Verde, located at Tucker’s Point Club with views of the course and picturesque Bermuda waters. The Tournament will begin at 12 p.m. with a shotgun-start and will follow a 2-ball, shamble format, using a 50% handicap.
“That evening from 4:30 p.m., players and guests will be invited to a Cocktail Party and Casual Bermuda-style BBQ featuring live entertainment. The second and final day of the tournament will begin on Sunday, November 27th at 9:45 a.m. with a grab-and-go brunch at Sul Verde followed by an 11 a.m. shotgun-start following a 2-ball, best-ball format, using a 50% handicap. To conclude the tournament, cocktails and dinner will be provided from 5 p.m. that evening, along with live entertainment and special prizes given to the winning participants.
