Album Featuring Collie Buddz #1 On Charts
Reggae band Stick Figure has unseated Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “Legend” from the top spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, with the American group’s album featuring Bermudian artist Collie Buddz.
The New York Carib News website said, “American reggae band Stick Figure unseats Bob Marley and the Wailers’ ‘Legend’ from the top spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, selling 9,672 copies of the album in its whole.
“This is the first time ‘Legend’ has slipped off the top rank since it ascended there 140 weeks ago.”
“The quartet maintains a reggae atmosphere in “Wisdom.” The upbeat, melodic songs by Woodruff, such as “Showdown” (co-written with Collie Buddz), “Old Sunrise,” “Paradise,” “Soul of the World” (co-written with Barrington Levy), “Falling Stars,” and “Edge of the Ocean.”
