Field Hockey: Red Wins, Ravens & Robins Draw
The Bermuda Field Hockey Season resumed at the National Sports Center, with seven goals scored in the two games.
Budgies Grey 2 – Budgies Red 3
In the opener, the battle of the Budgies was won by the red team who came from behind to win 3 – 2 over the red team.
The grey team took the lead in the 40th minute when Raven Pearman scored a field goal, the red team leveled the score when Jasmine Patterson scored a field goal in the 43rd minute. Four minutes later Talae Quinn gave the red team the lead with a field goal, and then in the 51st minute Georgia Harris put the red team up 3 – 1 with a field goal, and in the 53rd minute Kascia DeSilva scored a field goal for the grey team.
Ravens 1 – Pink Robins 1
The second match saw the Ravens and Pink Robins playing to a 1 – 1 draw.
The Ravens went in front in the 28th minute when Isabel Roe scored a field goal, and in the 48th minute, Jennifer Hamilton scored the equalizer for the Pink Robins with a field goal.
