Race, Sexual Orientation, Religion Conversation
“Race & Sexuality and how they Intersect with Religion/Christianity” will be the topic as during a dinner and conversation with Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis on Saturday, October 22.
A spokesperson said, “The Rev. Jacqui Lewis, Ph.D. uses her gifts as author, activist, preacher, and public theologian toward creating an antiracist, just, fully welcoming society in which everyone has enough and where everyone is equal.
“During this dinner discussion at the Bermuda National Gallery, Rev. Dr. Jacqui will help us explore Race & Sexuality and how they intersect with religion, Christianity particularly.
“Join us for cocktails at 5:30pm to the sounds of Robert Symons on the Steel Pan and then enjoy a three-course meal and entertainment at 6:30pm before Dr. Lewis challenges us with how our race and our sexuality interact with our faith as we journey through life together.
