Carey Olsen Appoints Three New Lawyers
Carey Olsen Bermuda said their “dispute resolution and litigation practice continues to grow with the appointment of senior associate Bradley Houlston, associate Charlotte Donnelly, and the secondment of Bermudian associate Jonathan Marion from the firm’s London office.”
A spokesperson said, “Bradley joins from the Bermuda office of another offshore law firm, where he led the employment and immigration practice. He has over a decade of experience advising clients on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Bradley has frequently advised on the defence of high-profile, complex and commercially sensitive employment litigation matters in the courts and tribunals, as well as in private arbitrations.
“Charlotte has relocated from London where she was previously a litigation associate at the London office of international law firm Gowling WLG [UK] LLP. She has acted for large pension funds, telecommunication operators and high-net-worth individuals in arbitrations and injunctions. She has experience in telecoms and property related commercial disputes in the English High Court and Lands Tribunal.
“Jonathan, who has relocated to the Bermuda office for a period of four months, has worked on a range of civil and commercial disputes, including all aspects of offshore commercial and trust litigation with a specific focus on arbitration, enforcement and insolvency issues such as out of court administrative and regulatory disputes.”
Carey Olsen Bermuda partner and head of the Bermuda disputes team, Keith Robinson, said: “Bradley, Charlotte and Jonathan are excellent additions to our team here in Bermuda. Their arrival not only bolsters our dispute resolution and litigation offering in the jurisdiction but also the breadth and depth of the talent in our associate pool. It is also gratifying that we are able to give Jonathan the chance to come back home for a time and build his practice here in Bermuda.
“With three recent partner promotions, we are comfortably the largest dispute resolution and litigation team on the island, and as such we deliver significant local expertise together with cross jurisdictional capability.”
