Police Advisory For World Triathlon Event
The Bermuda Police Service is urging the public to “exercise extra care and caution whilst traversing the roadways this weekend, particularly near the route for the big World Triathlon Championship Series event taking place over the next two days.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works has issued an advisory outlining the route for the event and we suggest you familiarise yourself with it.
“There will be road blocks set up at various points along the route. These road blocks will be manned by members of The Royal Bermuda Regiment, supported by event volunteers.
“Please cooperate with them and follow their instructions and help avoid any untoward situations occurring.”
