BEDC: “The Expo Was A Resounding Success”
The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] recently hosted the first annual Somerset EEZ Small Business Expo “aimed at supporting the growth and development of small businesses in Bermuda.”
A spokesperson said, “The event brought together local entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders for a day of networking, learning, and inspiration. The Expo was a resounding success, with a diverse range of vendors and panel discussions to provide valuable resources and information to help small businesses thrive.”
“I’m thrilled with the turnout and energy of this year’s Small Business Expo,” said Ondreyah Rochester, MSME Officer.
“It was great to see many passionate entrepreneurs and business owners come together to share ideas and build relationships. The feedback we’ve received from attendees and vendors has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re already looking forward to planning the next Expo.
The spokesperson said, “Panel discussions on marketing, government obligations, payment processing, and business support services were the highlight of the Expo. The 30-minute panel discussions were designed to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of these crucial topics and offer practical advice on how to navigate them.
“We would like to extend a special thank you to One Communications for their sponsorship of the Small Business Expo. Their contribution was instrumental in making the event a huge success and provided valuable resources to the small business community. We appreciate their support and partnership, and we are grateful for their role in helping us create a memorable experience for all attendees.
“Overall, the Small Business Expo was a tremendous success, with attendees and vendors expressing their enthusiasm for the event and its potential to impact the local small business community.
