Summer Internships For 15-18 Year Olds
The Department of Workforce Development is inviting “applications for the Summer Internship Programme [SIP] from high school students between 15 and no older than 18 by 3rd July 2023.”
Minister of Economy and Labour, Jason Hayward, said, “We must provide our youth opportunities at an early age that enables them to obtain the skills necessary for future success. In alignment with the Youth Employment Strategy, the Summer Internship Programme introduces young people to real-life work experiences that help them to develop the skills that will enhance their employability. I thank the Department of Workforce Development who continue to provide excellent opportunities for our youth to develop the skills and abilities that will help prepare them for future success.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Applications will be available on www.bermudajobboard.bm from 27th February until 31st March 2023. Hardcopy applications will not be accepted, and students must be able to commit for the entire month of July.
