Daylight Saving: Set Clocks Ahead One Hour
Daylight saving time will begin in the early hours of Sunday, March 12, requiring people across the island to set clocks ahead one hour, with most internet-connected devices making the change automatically.
Daylight saving time sees clocks adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and then adjusted back one hour in autumn. Time will fall back one hour in November, when daylight saving time comes to an end.
When will we start discussing leaving the clock as is in March? Most of the US will stop switching, some on standard time and some on DST.
With most of the Easter Seaboard stated seeming to want to stay with DST year round it would make perfect sense for us to stay on standard time. Why? So their businesses which work 9 – 5 will be on the same time as Bermuda making it easier to transact business.
