Meals On Wheels To Close For Two Weeks
Meals on Wheels will be closes for two weeks in April as they will be replacing the flooring in the kitchen.
A spokesperson said, “In order to stay ahead of Bermuda Health Department regulations and to continue to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and sanitation for which Meals on Wheels has been known for decades, we will be replacing the flooring in the kitchen, necessitating a two-week shut down for the work to be completed.
“We have been advised that the work will commence on April 3rd and will continue until April 14th, 2023. Regretfully, as a result, we will not be able to provide meal service during this period and are asking our clients and their families/caregivers to make alternative meal arrangements for this time.
“Meals on Wheels is a long-serving volunteer organization that prepares and delivers up to 220 freshly cooked meals, four days a week to people within our community who are incapacitated, unable to prepare and cook a nourishing meal on their own, or who have no one else on whom they can depend to do this for them. Our headquarters are located at 103 South Road, Paget.”
