Burrows Completes First Mural At Rock Island
[Written by Stephen Wright]
Budding Bermudian artist Keshun Burrows has completed his first mural at Rock Island Coffee Shop on Reid Street, Hamilton.
Mr Burrows was contacted by Sami Lill, creative director of local creative studio Uber Super Duper, after reading a Bernews interview with Mr Burrows published in December last year in which the artist detailed how art helps him cope with epilepsy.

He received materials and mentorship from Mr Lill before starting the intricate, geometric and colourful mural inside the coffee shop owned by Lisabet Outerbridge.
“I’ve now got wind under my wings and am excited to take on my next design projects,” said Mr Burrows, who lived at the Sunshine League Children’s Home for three years as a teenager.
“If anyone has wall space, I’d love more opportunities. After a tough childhood, I am using the arts as my therapy and am thrilled to take on any large surface to grow as an artist.”
