Batting first Uphill Castle scored 357/3 in their allotted 45 overs, F Churchward was the top scorer with 160 not out, J Burgess was the pick of the Wedmore bowlers with figures of 9-0-74-2.
In reply, Wedmore was bowled out for 181, L Stokes was the top scorer with 39, K Wade was the pick of the Uphill Castle bowlers with figures of 9-2-18-3, and Smith bowled 7-1-22-1.
