Gas-O-Rama Raises $20,000 For Local Charities

More than $20,000 raised by the Hamilton Lions Club’s annual Gas-o-Rama has been split between three local charities.
This year’s beneficiaries, the Bermuda Golf Association’s junior programme, Vision Bermuda and Tomorrow’s Voices, have each received $6,850 raised from the Gas-o-Rama at Rubis Terceira’s North Shore gas station on May 13 and the raffle in February.
Lions Club members and volunteers pumped gas from 7 am to 6 pm. Volunteers from the BGA junior programme also held a car wash.
The Gas-o-Rama was scheduled for February but postponed because of road closures.
