Cup Match Ferry Service To St George’s
The Department of Marine and Port Services announced the updated Orange Route Ferry Service to St George’s for the two-day Cup Match holiday.
A Government spokesperson said, “Additional departure times from Watford Bridge, Dockyard, and Hunter’s Wharf, St George’s, are scheduled for Thursday, August 3, and Friday, August 4.
Minister of Transport Wayne Furbert, commended the Department of Marine and Port Services for revising the schedule to include August 4.
Minister Furbert stated, “The original schedule only had service to St. George’s on the first day of the Cup Match. I challenged the team to devise a plan to extend the service to the second day, and they delivered. In addition to the regular weekday schedule, there are morning departures from Watford Bridge at 7 am, Dockyard at 7:15 am and an evening return from St. George’s at 9 pm.”
The spokesperson said, “The Minister strongly encourages residents to take full advantage of this special holiday ferry service. He added, “If relaxation is what you seek this holiday, hop on a ferry and cruise down to St. George’s to enjoy the Match.”
“All Ferry routes, excluding the green route, will operate on a weekday schedule. For the complete schedule, visit www.marineandports.bm or contact the Department of Marine and Port Services at 295 6575.”
