Athletes Travel For Commonwealth Games
Bermuda’s squad of 16 athletes left the island for Trinidad and Tobago today [August 2] for the Commonwealth Youth Games.
The team consists of Denver Tucker [athletics]; Natalie Gazzard and Kayley Hamilton [beach volleyball]; Annabelle Miller and Cameron Morris [cycling]; Adriana Argent, Elanna Fulton, Marleigh Howes, Isabella Howes, Thomas Chechini, Flynn Watson-Brown and Brandon Adkins [swimming]; and Jackson Langley, Fenella Wightman, Daria Desmond and Jamie Bedford [triathlon].
More than 1,000 athletes aged 14 to 18 from nations and territories across the Commonwealth will compete in seven sports, including athletics, beach volleyball, cycling, netball, rugby sevens, swimming and triathlon, from August 4 to 11.
