Governor Offers Condolences To Simmons Family
Governor Rena Lalgie extended her condolences following the passing of Michelle Simmons.
The Governor said “Like many of you I was saddened to learn about the passing of Michelle Simmons. I offer my sincere condolences to Dr Simmons and her family.
“Mrs Simmons was a valued member of the community having served on various Boards and Committees over a number of years. She retired in 2022 as Vice President of the Senate, having first been appointed as an Independent Senator in 2017. Her dedication to improving education in Bermuda was well-known and she accomplished much in her time as principal of The Berkeley Institute.”
