Eva Frazzoni, the Bermuda women’s national team captain, is continuing her semi-professional football journey at AFC Sudbury Women in England.
Frazzoni, who captained Bermuda to the gold medal at the NatWest International Island Games in Guernsey, the Channel Islands, in July, has played four games for the Suffolk outfit this season.
The midfielder scored her first goal for the club in a 3-1 away defeat to Cardiff City in the FA Women’s National League Cup last month.
AFC Sudbury play in the FA Women’s National League Division One South-East and are tenth in the table after three matches.
Frazzoni will head home to prepare for Bermuda’s opening Concacaf W Gold Cup qualifying match against the Dominican Republic at the Flora Duffy Stadium next Friday [September 22].
“Congratulations to our newest member of the squad, Eva Frazzoni, who sets off on international duty with Bermuda this weekend [for the] Concacaf W Gold Cup group stage,” AFC Sudbury Women tweeted.
Last season, the 25-year-old helped Hashtag United Women win the FA Women’s National League Division One South-East title.
