Ministry Addresses Water Supply Disruption
The Ministry of Public Works is “actively working to address a disruption in the potable water system in St. George’s.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry wishes to assure residents and businesses reliant upon this water supply that our team of experts is diligently addressing the issue.
“Service restoration is anticipated by early next week. The Ministry is committed to ensuring that residents and businesses have access to a reliable and safe water supply, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by this disruption.
“Clients are advised to monitor their tank levels closely during this period, and order trucked water if necessary.
“It is important to note that this water supply disruption is unrelated to the ongoing disruption to Government IT systems.
“The Ministry of Public Works would like to thank the residents and businesses of St. George’s for their patience and understanding during this time.”
