UK & Irish Schools Fair On Friday & Saturday
Beach Education is getting set to hold a United Kingdom and Irish Schools Fair on Friday [Sept 15] and Saturday [Sept 16].
A spokesperson said, “Following up on the earlier successful event, Beach Education is now bringing more outstanding UK boarding schools to Bermuda this week. The event will feature returning schools Bedes, Bryanston, Culford, Gordonstoun [famous for having alumni such as King Charles III and Zara Phillips], Ryde, Scarborough College, Sherborne, Sherborne Girls, and West Buckland.
“Also returning is the very popular government boarding school Sexey’s. The event also features four new schools, including historic Irish school Clongowes, and three new schools from the UK: Dauntsey’s, Queen Ethelburga’s, and Stonar.”
Beach Education Director, Fiona Beach, said, “We are excited to showcase a wonderfully diverse group of outstanding boarding schools specifically invited to appeal to students in Bermuda.
“I encourage all families to come to our event and learn what options are available to their children. Even if you thinking of a few years time, it is important to start the process and thinking a few years in advance.”
The spokesperson said, “With the student’s safety and well-being being of paramount importance, Beach Education is also excited to confirm that Guardian Family Network will be joining the fair to help parents navigate the benefits of an accredited and established Guardianship organization.
“Sign up to the fair by clicking our Eventbrite link https://Bermuda.eventbrite.com or on our Facebook page @BeachEducationUK or via our website www.beacheducation.com.
“Beach Education provides impartial and expert advice to families interested in a UK boarding school education. The bespoke and personalised service guides students towards hand-selected schools that will allow each unique child to flourish. They also offer support with the university application process known as UCAS to enter UK universities.
“Beach Education will allow interested students to be nurtured in an environment of:
- Academic excellence/Excellent pastoral care
- Inspiring sporting and extra-curricular activities
- Small class sizes/Develop independence in a diverse cohort of ambitious and caring students
“The UK has an affordable tertiary education system that offers great value when compared to its US counterparts, and UK schooling can make this transition to university education much easier.”

There are some wonderful British private schools on that list but my experience with my two daughters who joined year 8 at SEXEY’S School last year was terrible. Pupils were stealing their personal items, using vapes and trying to get them to use them and one pupil was caught with drugs in the dorm, all within half a term. I had to withdraw my girls right away. I do not recommend SEXEY’s School.
