BUEI To Screen ‘Dotty & Soul’ On October 14
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] announced the screening of the 2022 comedy film ‘Dotty & Soul’ on October 14th, featuring Leslie Uggams and Adam Saunders.
A spokesperson said, “Films at BUEI continue at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] with the
screening of the 2022 throwback comedy ‘Dotty & Soul’ on Saturday, October 14th at 7:30pm in our Tradewinds Auditorium [Wheelchair Accessible].
“When hot-shot entrepreneur Ethan Cox [Adam Saunders] gets caught up in a damaging social media scandal, his self-driving car company’s acquisition is in jeopardy. Desperate to find a way forward and needing to save face, Ethan decides to hire a 71-year-old snack cart vendor, Dotty [Leslie Uggams], to pose as the company’s figurehead. However, when Dotty finds her groove, she refuses to be the company’s silent figurehead any longer.
“With Leslie Uggams [Roots, Deadpool] and Adam Saunders [Shimmer Lake], the film is sure to be a comedic hit with audiences.
“‘Dotty & Soul’ is rated PG-13 and will last for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
“Tickets for ‘Films at BUEI’ are $15 for General Admission and $25 for our Big Screen Package, which includes: a drink of choice [a complimentary glass of wine from California’s own Beringer Main & Vine, an Italian Moretti Beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage] and a delightful snack pack to enjoy during the screening. Special thanks to Discovery Wines & Spirits!”
