Warrant Executed On Visiting Cargo Ship
Police, Customs and the Regiment Coast Guard “engaged in a joint operation which involved the execution of a warrant on board a visiting cargo ship” today [Oct 19], the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Based on information received, the Bermuda Police Service [BPS] and Bermuda Customs Department, assisted by the Royal Bermuda Regiment Coastguard, engaged in a joint operation which involved the execution of a warrant on board a visiting cargo ship Thursday, 19th October 2023.
“The operation remains ongoing. As such, it would not be prudent to provide any further information at this time.”
The operation took place in Dockyard, with a large amount of police vehicles and personnel seen in attendance.
