Bermuda forward Kole Hall has undergone successful surgery on a knee injury and says he “can’t wait to get back out there” for Vanarama National League North side Chester.
The 25-year-old, who signed a new deal at Chester last summer, made seven appearances this season, scoring one goal, before learning he needed surgery.
“I would like to say from the bottom of my heart a huge thank you to the Chester community,” Hall wrote on Instagram. “I’m so grateful for your support and contributions towards my surgery. Without all of you, this wouldn’t have been possible.
“Thank you for all the kind messages and your continued support throughout this process. It has been the main source of strength to enable me to get through this with a smile on my face.
“The surgery was a success, thanks to God. Now it’s time to focus on my recovery. Behind every dark cloud, the sun is shining bright.”
Hall made 32 appearances for the Chester last term, scoring seven goals.
