A spokesperson said, “BermudAir is excited to advise the public that the airline will conduct a “fly-past” salute during the Butterfield Bermuda Championship event this Saturday 11th November.

“The fly-past is scheduled for 1:00 pm local time, weather permitting. One of the airline’s E175 aircraft will fly over the water along Port Royal Golf Course, with the closest points being the 15th & 16th holes. The aircraft will fly at approximately 500 feet above sea level, which is low enough to give a great visual of its unique and distinctive livery in flight.

“Given that the aircraft will be flying much lower than usual, BermudAir wishes to give advance notice to the community. This salute has received regulatory approval and is part of the airline’s participation in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship event.

“All aviation enthusiasts, or anyone who wishes to capture the moment, are encouraged to have their cameras ready! However, please note that for safety reasons, drone flying in the area should not take place above 50 feet during the fly-past.”
