Sam Williamson Breaks Bermuda Record
Sam Williamson made waves at the 2023 British Universities & Colleges [BUCS] Short Course Championships in Sheffield by setting a new Bermuda open record.
Williamson took to the pool to compete in the 100m individual medley preliminaries, touching the wall in a personal best time of 56.45 finishing 9th, which took him into the A final.
In the 100m individual medley final, Williamson swam faster again to finish in 10th with a time of 56.18, setting a new Bermuda open record.
Williamson finished second competing in the 400m individual medley preliminaries clocking 4:26.15, and in the 400m individual medley final, he recorded the same time of 4:26.15, finishing 9th.
He also swam the 200m individual medley preliminaries clocking a personal best of 2:04.15 finishing 9th, and then in the 200m individual medley final, Williamson clocked another personal best time of 2:02.80 to finish in 9th place.
