Premier Burt Attending Abu Dhabi Finance Week
Premier David Burt is attending Abu Dhabi Finance Week, and said he had the opportunity to “engage with international leaders, deepen our economic ties, and discuss how Bermuda and the UAE can collaborate.”
The Premier, who is also the Minister of Finance, posted the images below on Instagram and said, “Today at Abu Dhabi Finance Week, I had the opportunity to engage with international leaders, deepen our economic ties, and discuss how Bermuda and the UAE can collaborate.
“I watched an enlightening fireside chat with Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater, the largest hedge fund in the world. I had informal discussions with H E Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADGM and the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, and Sheikh Mohammad Al Sabah of Kuwait’s Artificial Intelligence Society.
“Also, in line with the expansion of our family office regulatory framework, I spoke with many family offices in the region. These conversations play a crucial role in strengthening Bermuda’s global relationships and our economy.”
At least Burt not wearing a green tie
