LeiLanni Nesbeth Targets NCAA Title Glory

LeiLanni Nesbeth will be hoping to cap off her college football career with Florida State University [FSU] by winning another NCAA Championship title today [December 4]
Nesbeth helped No-1 ranked FSU defeat Clemson 2-0 in the NCAA Tournament semi-final on Friday to reach the final for the fourth time in five years.
They will face No-3 ranked Stanford, who beat Brigham Young University 2-0 on Friday, in the final in Cary, North Carolina, today [December 4].
Nesbeth, who helped FSU win the title in 2021, have already claimed a fourth straight Atlantic Coast Conference regular season title and championship title this season.
Speaking on her team’s title ambitions, Nesbeth, 22, told Bernews last month: “We’re confident about our chances, but we know the NCAA Tournament is a different beast [to the ACC matches].
“You either win or you go home. Teams will be coming out with a vengeance and giving it their all. I’ve no reason to doubt we won’t be in the final on December 4. It would be great to finish off with another title.”
The Bermuda women’s national team will look to call upon Nesbeth if they advance to the Concacaf W Gold qualifying play-offs by winning group C League B.
