Devonshire Cougars, Southampton Rangers Win
Footballers in both the Premier Division and First Division were in action this weekend, with the Devonshire Cougars and Southampton Rangers both earning wins.
Premier Division
Dandy Town Hornets 2 Devonshire Cougars 3
The Devonshire Cougars will be the league leaders when the second half of the season gets underway following their 3 – 2 come-from-behind win over the Dandy Town Hornets at the BAA Field.
Jahzardae Samuels gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead in the 5th minute, Enoch Joseph doubled the Dandy Town Hornets lead in the 12th minute as they stunned the crowd, in the 33rd minute Jazario Brimmer pulled a goal back for the Devonshire Cougars as the teams went to the break with the score 2 – 1 Dandy Town Hornets.
Domico Coddington would equalize for the Devonshire Cougars when he found the back of the net in the 66th minute, six minutes later Coddington would score what proved to be the winner for the Devonshire Cougars.
First Division
Southampton Rangers 4 Somerset Eagles 3
The Southampton Rangers came from behind to edge the Somerset Eagles 4 – 3 at the Southampton Oval.
Jahni Bean would score twice to lead the Southampton Rangers to victory, with Donte Brangman, and Dominque Hill adding a goal each. Ethan Fubler, Michael Tyler Emery, and Zaire Smith all found the net for the Somerset Eagles.
