Nahki Wells Helps City Advance In FA Cup
Nahki Wells helped Bristol City reach the FA Cup fourth round after beating ten-man West Ham United in a third-round relay yesterday [January 16].
City, who drew 1-1 away to the Premier League side in the first tie, advanced to the next round thanks to a neat finish from Tommy Conway in the third minute.
Substitute Wells replaced Conway in the 61st minute.
West Ham were reduced to ten men when Said Benrahma was sent off after kicking out at Joe Williams in retaliation after being fouled in the 51st minute.
City will face the winner of Nottingham Forest and Blackpool in tonight’s third-round replay.
The fourth-round ties will be played from January 27 to 30.
