Pacers Compete In Florida At Speed Capitol Meet
Bermuda Pacers athletes competed at the Speed Capitol Palm Beach Track meet in Florida.
Riana Robinson won the 13-Year-Old Girls 1500 Meter Run clocking a time of 5:21.51. The 15-16 Girls 1500 Meter Run was won by Jaeda Grant, with Azari Jones finishing second clocking 5:29.00.
Lashee Jones finished 4th clocking a time of 13.40 during the 15-16 Girls 100 Meter Dash, Hanna Dill finished 10th clocking 14.31, during the 17-18 Girls 100 Meter Dash, J’naz Richards finished 4th clocking a time of 13.51.
I’aura Golding finished 3rd competing in the 17-18 Girls 100 Meter Hurdles clocking a time of 19.03. In the 15-16 Girls 400 Meter Dash Amaris Munya clocked a winning time of 1:00.77, Saniya Place was third in 1:03.53.
In the 15-16 Boys 100 Meter Dash, Aaron Lugo finished 9th with a time of 12.90, Daylen Scott finished second during the 15-16 Boys 400 Meter Dash with a time of 55.67. Maximillian Reid finished 8th competing in the 17-18 Boys 400 Meter Dash stopping the clock in a time of 57.01.
Azari Jones won the 15-16 Girls 3000 Meter Run clocking 12:05.63, while Jake Smith won the 17-18 Boys 3000 Meter Run with a time of 9:55.00.
Munya finished 2nd competing in the 15-16 Girls 800 meter Run with a time of 2:27.75, Grant finished third clocking 2:31.41. Reid ran to victory in the 17-18 Boys 800 Meter Run clocking 2:17.70.
During the 15-16 Girls 200 Meter Dash, Jones finished 5th clocking a time of 27.09, Place was 6th with a time of 28.20, and Dill finished 11th with a time of 29.52.
Golding finished 4th clocking a time of 28.447 during the 17-18 Girls 200 Meter Dash. J’auza James won the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles Open clocking a time of 19.53. James would also win the Boys Long Jump Open with a top leap of 5.82m.
