PHC To Host Community Fun Day Tomorrow
PHC is set to hold its annual Community Fun Day tomorrow [March 29], including a run and walk, fun castles, kite flying, and more.
A spokesperson said, “On Good Friday, March 29th, PHC will host its annual Community Fun Day from 10:00am to 7:00pm at PHC Field, Stadium Lane, Warwick.
“The day will begin at 10:00am with a 1.25 mile run/walk from Lindo’s Warwick to PHC Field. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each respective category. Register for the race online at RaceDayWorld.com. Registration is $10 for juniors [under 18] and $15 for adults. Bermuda Timing Systems will provide chip timing and race results immediately following the race.
“From 11:00am, there will be several fun castles for children of all ages, a carnival/fair area for all, kite flying, and so much more. This year, PHC has partnered with Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] who will host an Easter egg hunt, a fishcake eating competition, and more celebrations.
“DJ Hershey from King Jyrus Sound and DJ Nico [a father/son duo] will play music for all to enjoy during the afternoon. Local vendors such as Chef Wayne’s Jerk Spot and Ashley’s Lemonade will have food and drinks for sale throughout the day.
