BFA Premier Division Saturday Football Results
Footballers in the BFA Premier Division were in action this weekend, with two matches ending in draws.
Paget Lions 1 PHC Zebras 1
The Paget Lions put a dent in PHC Zebras title hopes as they drew 1 – 1 at the Southampton Oval.
After a scoreless first half, the Paget Lions took the lead in the 79th minute as Diaje Hart converted from the penalty spot.
In the 89th minute the PHC Zebras were awarded a penalty following a handball in the box, Keishon Bean stepped up and scored to the goalkeeper’s right.
The result leaves the PHC Zebras two points ahead of the North Village Rams who have a game in hand.
Dandy Town Hornets 1 X-Road’s 1
X-Road’s run in the Premier Division came to an end this evening when they drew 1 – 1 with the Dandy Town Hornets at the BAA Field.
Angelo Simmons gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead in the 35th minute, they would take that lead to the break.
Donavan Thompson equalized for X-Road’s in the 84th minute, but they would not get the winner they were looking for to keep their hopes of survival alive.
