Swimmers Win Five Medals At Carifta Games
[Updated with video] Bermuda swimmers Connor Hupman and Madelyn Moore captured gold medals on day one of the Carifta Aquatics Championships in Nassau, the Bahamas, yesterday [March 30].
Hupman, 14, claimed victory in the 13-14 boys 50 metres backstroke, finishing in 28.33.
Meanwhile, Moore took gold in the girls 18 and over 50 backstroke in 29.53, with compatriot Logan Watson-Brown coming second to win silver in 30.01.
Adriana Argent won silver in the 15-17 girls 800 freestyle in 10:19.37
Also picking up a medal for Bermuda at the Betty Kelly Kenning Aquatic Centre was Rory Shepherd, who won bronze in the 11-12 boys 50 backstroke in 32.18.
