BermudAir Launches Promotions In USA
BermudAir announced that it is “boosting awareness about the airline and Bermuda via its first ever sweepstakes promotion overseas which is being featured in over 1,000 US retail outlets.”
A spokesperson said, “The promotion has been launched in partnership with Rosewood Bermuda Resort and Goslings and is featured on special point-of-sale materials at retailers selling Goslings products. It offers customers the chance to win a trip to Bermuda, along with special discount coupons that can be redeemed on bookings for flights from all BermudAir’s US destinations.
“BermudAir, Rosewood Bermuda and Goslings are featured in specially branded, highly visible point of sale posters and promotional materials in participating retail stores across various US States, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Maryland, Washington DC and Florida.
“Customers who scan their details to enter the promotion also receive coupons that provide a $50 discount on round-trip tickets they book on BermudAir before the end of December 2024. US-based firm Garvin Promotions Group, which specializes in conducting national consumer promotions across industry sectors, also facilitated implementing the promotion in key markets.”
“This promotion is designed to extend awareness about BermudAir and the routes the airline serves from its US destinations, while also helping to bring more visitors to Bermuda,” said Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir.
“The pace of entries from people seeking to receive the vouchers has been great. There were over 100 coupons emailed out to customers who entered the promotion in the first few days. We’re working with partners to find alternative ways to be out in the market. Generating that kind of initial response demonstrates an encouraging interest among consumers in travelling to Bermuda and trying the airline. We sincerely appreciate the enthusiasm and collaboration of Goslings, Rosewood Bermuda and Garvin Promotions Group, our partners in this initiative.”
The spokesperson said, “The sweepstakes promotion ends on June 30th 2024.”
Ironic that Bermudair is doing a better job than the BTA, yet the BTA will get a % cut of the revenue generated.
I don’t find it ironic at all.
The BTA must do as the PLP Government directs. BermudaAir is free to do what it considers is in its best interest.
Interesting idea – kudos to whoever copied the idea.
